Chandler has some of the strictest pool fence rules in the Valley and plenty of HOAs with opinions about style and color. We know both. From Ocotillo’s lake homes to acreage in South Chandler, we install fences that look right and pass inspection, with a firm price over video.
Chandler homeowners expect things done properly the first time. That's exactly how we run every job, and here's how we back it up.
Every Chandler installation is covered for 36 months against sagging, shifting, and loose hardware.

Chandler grew fast, and most of its neighborhoods were planned around HOAs. In Fulton Ranch, Ocotillo, and Cooper Commons, fence height, color, and even view fence style are often set by the association, so we design to those guidelines from the start. In Downtown Chandler and older areas like Pecos Ranch, it’s usually time to replace a tired fence. And on larger lots in Southeast Chandler, people want room for dogs, horses, or a big pool deck.
Pools are where Chandler really stands out. The city requires a building permit for pool fencing, a barrier at least 6 feet tall, and it doesn’t accept wood as a pool barrier. Elsewhere, back and side yard fences can generally go up to 7 feet, while front-yard fences stay around 3 feet. Our installers know these numbers and plan every Chandler fence around them.

Clear answers about Chandler fence and pool barrier rules, timelines, and materials.
Chandler requires pool barriers to be at least 6 feet tall, which is higher than in most nearby cities. Openings must be small enough that a 4-inch ball can’t pass through, and there can be no footholds for climbing. Walk-through gates must close and latch on their own, with the latch more than 54 inches above the ground. We build every Chandler pool fence to these specs.
No. Chandler doesn’t allow wood fencing as a pool barrier, and existing wood fences around a new pool usually have to be replaced with masonry or decorative metal. That’s why most of our Chandler pool projects use powder-coated steel, which stays rust-resistant and keeps the yard feeling open.
Pool fencing in Chandler always needs a building permit before it goes in. For a regular backyard fence, the main limits are height and placement: generally up to 7 feet in the back and side yards and about 3 feet in front. Your HOA will usually need to approve the design too. We help with both parts of the process.
Most Chandler HOAs approve tan or white vinyl, view fences on top of block walls, and black or bronze metal. Bright colors and certain wood styles are often limited, especially along streets. Send us your HOA guidelines before the video call and we’ll match the design to them so approval goes smoothly.
Yes. Lakefront homes in Ocotillo have their own considerations, including pool barrier rules near the shoreline and HOA preferences for open view fencing. We’ll talk through the options for your lot so you keep the water view and still meet safety requirements.
Your estimate is ready on the day of the video call. Standard fences usually take one to three days to install. If you need a pool permit or HOA approval first, we’ll give you a realistic timeline that includes those steps.
